Officers from the New York Police Department ( NYPD ) reportedly began making arrests amongst a group of anti-Israel activists around 8:30 p. m. , according to the New York Times.
According to the report, the arrests occurred after NYU officials issued a warning to protesters that they could face possible consequences if they did not leave the school courtyard.
