If Poland decide to host nuclear weapons, Moscow has warned that it will take necessary precautions to “ensure its security.” However, Russian President Vladimir Putin has never shied away from discussing the power of nuclear weaponry, stating in a television meeting, “Weapons exist in order to use them… We are ready to apply weapons, including any weapons, including [nuclear], if we are talking about the existence of the Russian position, harming our sovereignty and independence. ”
