Senate set to advance Ukraine aid after rollercoaster House battle

On Tuesday, the Senate is finally poised to pass legislation to aid Ukraine, bringing the end of a months-long debate that questioned Mike Johnson’s (R-La ) party’s ) survival. ) Speakership and Kyiv’s mechanisms.

While the schedule of a ultimate vote is unknown, the result is not. After a difficult procedure that got lawmakers this far, the House’s support costs is expected to pass with convenience over nearly every Senate Democrat and about half of the Republican event.

At this point, Greene’s attempt to remove Johnson has just three known backers, and his support for him will likely go up in the air as Democrats try to keep the hand.  

One of the hapless concerns about the Senate ballot this week is whether Republicans will be able to clinch the majority of the convention in this election. Only 22 Republicans cast ballots in the supplemental voting in February, with 29 related members just days after the frontier bill was voided.

Sen. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S. C. ) laid into Sen. J. D. During a Sunday show appearance, Vince (R-Ohio ) made what he claimed were “garbage ” claims that Ukraine lacks the resources to deal with Russian forces.
