Following a judge’s ruling in the Westminster Magistrates ‘ Court on Tuesday, the charges against activist and independent journalist Tommy Robinson were dropped.
Mr Robinson, 40, was arrested in central London on November 26th for presumably violating a ban from attending a pro-Israel presentation. According to the officers, he refused to follow the purchase and was put in handcuffs and arrested him because of this.
But, on Monday, it was revealed that Met Police Inspector Steve Parker-Phipps had filled out the wrong time on the spread order, writing the form’s deadline of November 24 as opposed to November 26. He claimed that the problem was caused by the power in his laptop going out of a draw. Parker-Phipps acknowledged in court that the error made it possible that the attempt was not in the best interest.

Robinson said:” Freedom of the press is under assault, and freedom of speech has been under assault. I spoke with one-time Brexit supporter Lord Pearson of Rannoch and broadcaster Katie Hopkins outside the court on Tuesday. My right to council and all of these items have been violated. I’m then allowed into London. What’s been ruled on is the arrest was unconstitutional, the pepper spraying was unconstitutional. They arrested me on my daughter’s birthday, that ’s now unconstitutional. Their loan problems are unconstitutional. This is my first day being readily permitted in my home town, which is located on St. George’s Day.
“The place I want people to understand, I’ve only said I’ve won. Have we won? Do we have independence? I have been prohibited from entering my home for the past six weeks, but jihadists have taken control of it with the blessing of the officers. I’ve had my limits, my right to a home life, I actually went to court to question whether I may take my children to the Christmas lights turn-on and I was refused that option.
For the past six months, I have had to go to a Sunni police officer and request permission to enter my own money city, one of the conferences being an interview with a member of Parliament. That demand was turned down by that Arab police officer. That is a policeman state, that is not flexibility. I’ve spent too much time in these politicized houses, but the judge chose to speak for the reality today.
“ I was n’t allowed inside the M25 for six months … they’ve limited my ability for my activism, for my work, for my journalism. They’ve invaded the protection — anyone I want to match for my journalism, I have to offer the British authorities their telephone numbers, next they’d phone them. I had to let them know how frequently I meet them and where I have been for the past six months. ”

The case revolved around a pro-Israel show held on November 26 in central London by the Campaign Against Antisemitism. Despite the activist’s longtime public support for Israel and the Hebrew people, the organization reportedly reached out to the police to obtain Robinson been barred from attending the demonstration.
Gideon Falter, the CEO of the Campaign Against Antisemitism, made headlines last week after being barred from approaching a pro-Palestinian opposition. No one wants to move with Tommy Robinson, they claimed in a statement about the attempt to stop him from attending their November 26th march, adding that they hoped the police would stop him.
According to Robertson, it was inappropriate for the authorities to challenge the spread order in the first place because he claimed that he was being a columnist at the time. He also asserted that officers body-camera footage was removed, that it would have depicted him asking authorities to wait for his coworker to return with his vehicle locks, and that he was not trying to defy the order to leave the place.
Rebel News reporter Sheila Gunn Reid, who was present at the prosecution, claimed that Robinson may receive no charges despite winning the case against him.
At a cost of £60,000, I went to court for this crime for the seventh day. This is about lawfare, the procedure is the sentence. You may come here and get a success, but they’ve had the victory, they’ve controlled any opposition to Hamas on the sidewalks of this country by banning me for six weeks, that ’s what they’ve done. ”
Robinson added on Tuesday that he wants to require Sir Mark Rowley’s withdrawal and keep an independent show on June 1st in London.
