Fox News legal analyst Jonathan Turley said Monday on Fox News Channel’s “America Reports ” that The New York trial of former president Donald Trump for allegedly falsifying business documents is an “embarrassment. ”
Turley said, “ What is apparent is in this event, Trump is correctly this is an embarrassment. The fact that we are actually talking about this situation being presented in a New York court place leaves me in utter amazement. ”
He continued, “The claims immediately did in fact record every issue with this. You had this criminal under position laws that had expired. This is going backwards related to the 2016 vote. They zapped it back into life by alleging that there was a plan financing violations under the governmental regulations that does n’t occur. The Department of Justice does n’t see it this way. ”
Turley added, “On bottom of that, you got these difficult scientific problems that were the Trump administration effectively stated that someone else had designated this as ; he was really paid far more than he was; this because this was a legitimate accounts. Also keep in mind, this is what Hillary Clinton’s individuals did. Consider when they provided the Steele Dossier? denied to investigators, they put it as a legitimate price. Therefore they fought the eventual excellent they received from the national government saying that it was a legitimate price. You then have some of the same Democrats backing this ; ridiculous idea. ”
