An illegal immigrant who had recently been released from custody but had formerly been detained and charged by local law enforcement with sexual crimes against a small was arrested earlier this month.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( Snow ) company revealed that officials had lately apprehended a 30- year- ancient Nicaraguan national from his home in Bladensburg, Maryland, on April 15.
Prior to this arrest, the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD ) had the Honduran national arrested and charged with sex crimes against a minor.
Liana Castano, the Washington, D. C. field office director with ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations ( ERO ), said in a statement:
This Honduran noncitizen is accused of committing some extremely severe crimes, which are a risk to the children of Washington, D.C. When local governments adopt rules prohibiting cooperating with ICE ERO and upholding our freely issued subpoenas and administrative warrants, they put the suspects, law enforcement officials, and most important, the residents of our neighborhood communities in danger. ERO Washington, D. C. may continue to promote public health by apprehending and removing the most severe noncitizen challenges from our districts.
In the press release, ICE revealed that the illegal immigrant had been arrested by the FCPD in July 5, 2023, and was” charged” with “felony sexual information” of a baby between the age of” 13- 14″ without the use of power.

A day later, ICE placed an “immigration detainer” on the Honduran national with the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center (FCADC ).
Despite this ejectment, FCADC released the unlawful alien from prison on July 10, 2023, on a$ 10, 000 relationship.
The Honduran national was detained by the FCPD once more on February 22, 2024, and he was accused of” two additional counts of felony sexual knowledge” of a baby between the years of” 13 and 14″ without using army, and” two counts of misdemeanor indecent liberties with a baby less than 15 years of age.”
Once again, the illegal immigrant was released by the FCADC,  , this day on the same day, before a detainer may become issued.
On April 15, the Honduran immigrant was given a notice to look before a Department of Justice immigration judge after being detained by officials from ICE’s ERO section.
The Honduran regional did “main in ICE prison pending the outcome of his treatment proceedings.”
During the 2023 fiscal time, ICE’s ERO section arrested “73, 822 noncitizens with criminal biographies”.
Out of those arrested during this time span, there were around” 290, 178 associated fees and beliefs” with each specific having” an average of four” past charges and convictions.
