NEW DELHI: The Israel Embassy in India has refuted reports that a mass grave was discovered at Khan Yunis ‘ Nasser Hospital. Additionally, it added that the citizens of Gaza dug the grave a few months ago.
Any attempt to blame Israel for burying residents in large coffins is deemed “false,” according to the Israel Embassy in India.
The Israel Embassy in India stated in a blog on X that “misinformation is circulating regarding a large grave that was discovered at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.” Palestinians dug the tomb a few months ago, according to the article. As seen in the picture below, the social media video posted by Gazans at the time of the burial confirm this point. Any claim that Israel is to blame for burying civilians in large graves is blatantly misleading and serves as an example of a propaganda campaign aimed at delegitimizing Israel.
Following the removal of Jewish makes from the neighborhood earlier this month, the Israel Embassy in India made the statement, according to CNN, following the claim made by Gaza Civil Defense personnel that a large tomb with more than 300 body was discovered at a clinic in Khan Yunis.
According to Colonel Yamen Abu Suleiman, Director of Civil Defense in Khan Yunis, 35 bodies were discovered at the Nasser Medical Complex on Tuesday, bringing the total to 310. According to Suleiman, 73 bodies were discovered on Monday.
Suleiman claimed that some of the body had “hand and foot tied” when they were discovered, and that” there were signs of industry deaths.” We’re unsure whether they were dead or executed. Most of the body are decomposed”.
On Tuesday, The Israel Defence Makes ( IDF) called any” say that the Army buried Arab body false and baseless”, CNN reported.
According to the IDF, dead buried by Palestinians in the Nasser Hospital were examined during the IDF’s operation in accordance with the effort to find victims and missing people. The examination was conducted with care and only in locations where intelligence suggested the presence of victims.
According to the Pkk,” The examination was conducted politely while upholding the deceased’s dignity.” Body examined, which did not belong to Zionist victims, were returned to their area”.
However, the United Nations has called for an “independent, efficient and transparent analysis” into the identification of mass graves at two hospital complexes in Gaza after Jewish troops besieged and raided them earlier this year, according to CNN report.
Volker Turk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, described the displays at the Nasser and Al-Shifa complex as “horrifying.” On Tuesday, Turk said,” Given the prevailing culture of violence, this may include global investigators”.
According to him,” Clinics are entitled to very specific shelter under international humanitarian law.” And the intentional killing of civilians, prisoners, and others who are hors de battle is a combat murder”.
