China: US secretary of state Antony Blinken landed in Beijing on Thursday away of talks with major Chinese officials, according to an AFP blogger, following a charm offensive in Shanghai.
Despite Blinken’s earlier visit to China in June, which revealed their plans at the last minute, a meeting was scheduled for him to join with President Xi Jinping.
