Rev. On Thursday, Franklin Graham praised Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX ) for taking a tough stance against anti-Israel protesters at the University of Texas in Austin.

He is completely correct to say that individuals who sign up for racist demonstrations at any common college or university in Texas may be expelled. Gov. Abbott posted: ‘ These activists belong in prison. In Texas, racism will not be tolerated. Period.’ Bless you Gov. Abbott for your powerful leadership”, the reverend added:

On Wednesday, Abbott shared video of law enforcement officers escorting activists among the crowd. ” Detention being made right now &, may continue until the audience disperses”, Abbott stated:

According to Breitbart News, the Lots of Texas Department of Public Safety soldiers arrived at the scene on Wednesday to enforce their repression of the pro-Hamas demonstrators. Some of whom were apparently detained.

The protesters gathered to show their support for individuals at another top universities in the United States, noting that the Palestine Solidarity Committee organized the show in Austin.

The Texas DPS took action in response to a warning from the University of Texas officials that protesters would not be permitted to possess this college, as had been done elsewhere. The organizers were given a warning to halt the opposition by UT officials.
Simply put, the University of Texas at Austin wo n’t permit protesters to “take” our campus and derail our mission in ways that groups affiliated with your national organization have done elsewhere, the letter states.
After hundreds of students gathered for the presentation, about 30 people were detained, according to Fox 4’s report on Wednesday.
