According to Princeton teacher Eddie Glaude Jr., the Supreme Court’s case involving Donald Trump’s political resistance case was “really British democracy in the balance,” according to a statement made on MSNBC’s” José D’az- Balart Reports.”
Glaude said,” We’re talking about the range of political power, we’re talking about the nature of separation of powers, we’re at the heart of American politics right now”.
He continued,” So we’re watching this and it’s great crisis, but it’s also happening against the landscape of demonstrations all throughout the state, the first time we’ve ever seen a leader in a courtroom. This is in reality American politics in the harmony. As an American, I’m trying to figure out what my gut is saying. Where are we as a nation right now”?
Glaude continued,” I think it’s really important to understand that those leaders also acted within the limitations of a certain standards.” They had a certain set of beliefs. What happens when an artist who works in the White House appears to have unconstrained professional power? You end up in a situation where you must understand these kinds of issues in order to establish limitations.
