NEW DELHI: A strange water that came from one of the restrooms that was strewn down the aisle of a Spirit Airlines aircraft headed for New Jersey surprised the passengers on board.
According to USA Today, some passengers on this year’s trip record the sudden event on their phones while others react with laughter as they watch the fluid flow in disbelief.
Some of the passengers grabbed their own photos of the slippery mess as the plane began to feel down in Newark.
The incident took place on Spirit Airlines journey 1595, according to a Spirit Airlines spokesman.
According to Flight Understanding, an online service that tracks flight paths, the flight left Atlanta Hartfield Jackson International Airport soon after 3 p.m. on Monday and arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport at 5:18 p.m.
A maintenance crew from Spirit Airlines arrived in Newark after the flight was delayed due to” an issue with a usable liquid line connected to a drop in the back lavatory,” according to a Spirit Airlines spokesperson in an email to USA TODAY.
The issue was quickly resolved, and the plane was given permission to resume its course of action.
