After his “wholehearted endorsement,” former president Donald Trump announced bitterly that he would reduce “lethargic” from the roster of accusations against former attorney general Bill Barr.
Trump posted on Truth Social soon Wednesday:
Wow! Former A. G. Bill Barr, who let a lot of great people down by not investigating Voter Fraud in our Country, has just Endorsed me for President despite the fact that I called him” Weak, Slow Moving, Lethargic, Gutless, and Lazy” ( New York Post! ). Based on the fact that I greatly appreciate his fervent Endorsement, I am removing the phrase” Listless” from my speech. Bless you Bill. MAGA2024!
Barr, who served as Trump’s subsequent solicitor general, has since bashed the former president after leaving office. However, he just said he would voting for the” Republican solution”.
Barr was asked on April 18 on Fox’s” America’s Newspaper” whether he would support Trump in 2024.
Barr responded,” I’ve said all along given two poor decisions, I think it’s my responsibility to find the people I think would do the least harm to the country. And , in my mind, I did vote the Republican seat. I may support the Democratic seat”.
