
The problem of what caused the horrible middle- air collision between two planes at the , Royal Malaysian Navy , ( RMN) center, resulting in the loss of 10 team members, remains unresolved.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri , Mohamed Khaled Nordin , urged compassion regarding the cause of the incident, highlighting the need for extensive studies from the ongoing investigation.
He stated that a military commission would be established to carry out an in-depth analysis into the collision, stressing that “it will not be good to make any assumptions.”

The M502- 6 Fennec with three persons aboard plummeted into a swimming lake, while the AgustaWestland M503- 3 of the Maritime Helicopter System ( HOM) carrying seven persons collided near the stairs and running lines of the RMN facility.
Seven men and three women, who were among the ten victims of the aircraft motion, ranged in age from 26 to 41, were also killed.
Mohamed Khaled , said that one army officers in the lake sustained slight injuries from dirt.
Both aircraft took off from the Sitiawan area at , 9.03am , on a training program for the 90th Naval Day event.
” Post- postmortem may get carried out at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun in , Ipoh. We will then leave it up to the people to make their own funeral arrangements, because not all of them are from this area. There are individuals from , Sabah , as well”, he said.
This was the next time the plane had participated in a rehearsal, while the navy had done the first one with the HOM in 2021.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof previously stated that the government would provide specific guidance to the next of relatives of the 10 officials and employees who passed away.
He said their welfare was now the president’s focus.
He claimed that the government would make an announcement regarding aid and support for these victims ‘ families.
He told reporters at the base,” I’m sure there are definitely some of them who have contributed to the Armed Forces Fund Board ( LTAT ), some of whom have pensions and others have insurance.”
Fadillah predicted that the incident, which involved some of the victims were younger officers and personnel, may have a significant impact on the family members.

” But picture a three- yr- old child who does n’t understand anything about losing either a family or a daddy”, he said.

” Let the police and army do the investigation, we will wait for the full report later”, he said.
