On Thursday, anti-Israel protesters erected an encampment on the George Washington University ( GWU) campus in Washington, DC.
According to an Instagram post from Students for Justice in Palestine at GWU ( SJPGWU), a student organization, the DMV Coalition of Students for Justice in Palestine set up a” joint encampment” on the university’s campus in University Yard on Thursday morning.
It is our moral obligation to undermine business as usual for an ending to institutional participation in genocide, according to SJPGWU, referring to a “mass tomb” fake that has recently been widely circulated.
Nick Kristof, a dramatic left- aircraft journalist with the New York Times,  , circulated the “mass tomb” fake in a blog on X. Individuals such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez ( D- York ) have spread Kristof’s fake.
Hamas, a U. S. designated Islamic terror group claimed on Saturday that more than 200 body had been discovered in a large tomb at Nasser Hospital, the position of a past attack, in Khan Younis, a town in Gaza, according to the Times of Israel.
The body, Hamas claimed, had been buried by Jewish forces. Some of the bodies were discovered with their arms tied and their garments, according to UN officials.
The Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) referred to this claim as “baseless,” noting that “forces searching for Jewish victims had examined body recently buried by Palestinians close to Nasser Hospital and had returned the body to where they were buried after they were examined.
According to the report,” It has been documented that Palestinians buried their dead at the doctor basis both before and while Israeli soldiers were there.”
In an effort to find Jewish victims, the IDF also claimed that while conducting an operation in the vicinity of the doctor, IDF soldiers had “examined dead that had been buried by Palestinians.”
A speaker may be heard saying at the rally at GWU,” Each university may protect pro-Palestinian speech on campus.” Every school may stop selling technology and arms to the Zionist regime, according to the statement.

Activists at the camp were reportedly told by officials that they could “protest until 7 p. m .”, and after that time, they had to “take down the encampment”, campus newspaper, the GW Hatchet,  , reported.
The store reported in an upgrade at 9:27 p.m. that the “demonstrators have shown no signs of relocating or clearing the houses from the area.”
As of 9: 43 p. m., promoters of the camp were preparing to handle over plans for demonstrators and “obtain more houses” if needed, according to the store.
The anti- Israel camp on GWU’s school comes after an anti- Israel camp was established on the yard at Columbia University in New York next Wednesday, resulting in numerous students, such as Rep. Ilhan Omar’s ( D- MN) daughter, Isra Hirsi, being suspended from Barnard College and more than 100 protesters being arrested due to their involvement in the encampment.
Since then, anti- Israel protests, rallies, and encampments have erupted across college and university campuses in the United States, such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , ( MIT ),  , Yale University, the University of North Carolina,  , Northwestern University, and the University of Southern California, in support of the initial encampment at Columbia University.
