    U. S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken attends a meeting with Egyptian foreign ministries in Cairo, Egypt, March 21, 2024.

As the differences between China and Beijing get worse, Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Xi Jinping, president of China, and another Beijing authorities. &nbsp,

Blinken said he outlined the U. S. worries with China, mentioning Beijing’s support of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which has surpassed the two- time level, and Taiwan.

Following the meeting, Blinken told reporters that” Russia may struggle to maintain its assault on Ukraine without China’s help.”

Blinken added that he told Xi that the continent’s protection is in direct correlation with Kyiv’s safety. &nbsp,

” Fueling Russia’s security commercial base not merely threatens Ukrainian safety, it threatens Western security”, Blinken said. ” As we’ve told China for some time, ensuring transatlantic safety is a key U. S. attention. In our debate now. China did not address this issue, as I emphasized.

Despite expressing concern about the impact of the United States on Beijing’s economic growth, Xi claimed that the two countries must get compromises to guarantee prosperity on both sides. &nbsp, &nbsp,

” This is a fundamental problem that must be addressed, just like the first button of a shirt that must be put best, in order for the China- U. S. relationship to really maintain, improve and move forwards”, Xi said, according to Reuters. &nbsp,

Apart from the chat with Xi, the U. S. secretary of State met with China’s people safety minister, Wang Xiaohong, and the world’s foreign minister, Wang Yi. &nbsp,

Wang mentioned the relationship between the states is starting to” stabilize”, but even warned the U. S. to not interfere with the country’s domestic improvements. &nbsp,

Our main interests are threatened, according to Wang, who claimed that China’s reasonable development rights have been unfairly suppressed.

” China’s problems are consistent”, he continued. ” We have always called for appreciation of each other’s core interests and attempt the United States not to impede in China’s domestic affairs, not to keep China’s development again, and not to move on China’s reddish lines on China’s sovereignty, security, and development interests”.

Blinken’s visit is due to wrap up on Friday. Not long after President Biden released the$ 95 billion foreign aid package that included$ 8 billion to deter Chinese aggression against Taiwan, he arrived in China on Wednesday. The tranche of bills also includes legislation to ban TikTik in the U. S. if its parent company ByteDance, based in China, does not sell the American operations.
