A$ 5.3 billion takeover offer from US private equity firm Thoma Bravo, which highlighted the British company’s” capability in artificial intelligence,” was accepted by cybersecurity firm Darktrace on Friday.
The funds offer comes after Thoma Bravo previously expressed acquisition involvement in Darktrace two years ago.
According to Thoma Bravo companion Andrew Almeida,” Darktrace is at the very cutting edge of security systems, and we have long been appreciative of its system and ability in unnatural intelligence.”
In response to virtual threats that are instantly complex, world, and superior,” the pace of innovation in cybersecurity is accelerating.”
According to Darktrace CEO Poppy Gustafsson, “technology has never been more important in a universe increasingly threatened by AI-powered attacks.”
