El Paso border agent involved in use-of-force incident, agency says

EL PASO, Texas ( Border Report )— U. S. Border Patrol officials say an adviser was involved in a&nbsp, “use- of- power” &nbsp, event on Thursday in El Paso. &nbsp,

The Border Patrol did not say who prompted the&nbsp, agent ‘s&nbsp, use of force, what amount of force&nbsp, was used, or whether there were any injuries.

In a statement, the Border Patrol said the agent&nbsp, is assigned&nbsp, to the&nbsp, company ‘s&nbsp, El Paso Sector, whose border with Mexico stretches 264 miles from Hudspeth County, Texas, to the New Mexico- Arizona state line. &nbsp,

According to the declaration, U. S. Customs and Border&nbsp, Protection ‘s&nbsp, Office of Professional Responsibility is reviewing the affair. It said&nbsp, more details would be shared&nbsp, as it becomes available.
