California Highway Patrol in Santa Fe Springs ( CHP ) responded to questions on social media on Thursday about using the carpool lane while driving while a mannequin is in the passenger seat.
The organization responded in a concise manner to a recent incident where an official discovered a mannequins riding in a passenger’s car.
” The answer is straightforward … NO. Like this vehicle found out, we’ve gotta give it to them, the look is next level simulation but at the end of the day … plastic is plastic”, CHP officers said.
The doll was depicted in a photo of the doll wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and facial hair.
Officer Kaplan stopped this car because it crossed good twice lines, only to realize that the driver and their plastic friend were the only passengers inside. The beard was strong … just a little too sharp”, the organization said.
