
Achinthya Sivalingan, a pupil of Indian descent, reportedly faced incarceration for participating in an illegal rally supporting Palestine at Princeton University in the USA. Apparently, Hassan Sayed, a different student, was detained along with Achinthya as a result of the growing pro-Palestine demonstrations on different US university campuses.
According to Princeton University’s official site, Achinthya Sivalingan, hailing from Coimbatore, and raised in Columbus, Ohio, pursued studies in world politics and economics at Ohio State University.

Achinthya has previously worked for the Center for Policy Research on land privileges and policy in India and for the Foundation for Policy Research in Ohio’s next city. She’s engaged in culture narratives and contacts, especially as they relate to version and development”, it added.
In the first hours of Thursday night, about 100 undergraduate and graduate students staged a sit-in at McCosh Courtyard, a continuation of a pattern of pro-Palestine sit-ins occurring all over the country. Princeton Public Safety ( PSAFE ) reportedly issued an initial warning to the protesters as student organizers began erecting tents.
According to the report, Achinthya and Hassan were detained, which reportedly caused the other kids to tear down the tents.
