The Pentagon confirmed on Thursday that U.S. forces have begun building a wharf to provide humanitarian support into the Gaza Strip.
” I can ensure that U. S. military arteries, to include the USNS Benavidez, have begun to develop the first stages of the momentary wharf and bridge at sea”, Pentagon press director Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder , said.
According to Breitbart News, Palestinian terrorists fired cement at United Nations officials as they visited the proposed wharf site the same day.
A senior military official said the pier’s development began on Thursday and that they are on track to use it to transport humanitarian aid to Gaza by water from early next month, according to UPI, speaking to reporters on the condition of anonymity.
Authorities confirmed that it was being built away from the Gaza War on the side of the ocean.
