On Friday’s spread of Newsmax Television’s” Carl Higbie Frontline”, NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell stated that there is a lack of transparency “right now in the area with some of these protests, some of our thieves, rehabilitation, there’s got to get implications for your activities”.
Chell said,” My favourite phrase, responsibilities. If you’re not guilty, you lack responsibilities, there]are ] going to be outcomes, and that’s what we lack here right now in the area with some of these demonstrations, some of our thieves, rehabilitation, there’s got to be implications for your activities. And if the appropriate consequences are used effectively and all of these partners do their jobs, the area will grow bigger and bigger, and it is already a great city.
Chell added that Eric Adams ( D), the mayor of New York City, is” all about public safety.” He gives our staff the opportunity to work on their jobs. He simply wants us to take the bad guys off the streets and do it strong and fair with some kindness. … How they’ve performed this year in fighting murder, record highs in police and doing it right for the most part, that’s what he allows us to perform, and that’s what we are doing. And we’re still the safest great city in the nation.
