After being caught speeding, a resolute New York city attorney fled from the police and had a lot of explaining to accomplish.
Last Monday, a native official attempted to pull her over while she was driving 55 miles in a 35 mph area. But she continued on the road until she reached home, just resuming driving once it was in her garage.
What followed was a stunning confrontation during which Doorley claimed she “did n’t feel like stopping” because she was” stressed” with murder cases.
You have three deaths in the area to deal with, you know what I’ve been dealing with all time. she said. And do you think it matters if I travel 20 miles over the speed limit?
But it gets worse. She also called the area’s police chief, Dennis Kohlmeier, to request that he “leave me only.” She also called the arresting official an “asshole.”
See all this above:

This is what you refer to as a dishonest Karen.

To Doorley’s breaks, she finally sort of recognized role when she pleaded guilty in municipal court next Tuesday. Additionally, she made a speech outlining her side of the story.
” On Monday, April 22, 2024, I was driving home following a hectic time at work”, the statement reads. ” I have to say that I was not paying attention to the rate I was traveling on Webster’s Phillips Road.” A Webster Police vehicle was behind me, less than a half a hour from my neighborhood. I called the Webster Police Chief to let him know that I was n’t a threat and that I would speak with the officer at my home across the street when I realized that the car’s intention was to pull me over.
” My home was followed by the Webster Police Officer, who issued me a speeding ticket for my 55 mph in a 35 mph zone. I gave the seat and acknowledged that I was speeding. I pleaded guilty and sent the seat to the Webster Town Court by 1:00 PM the following day because I “believe in accepting responsibility for my actions and had no desire to use my position to receive a benefit,” it continues.
” Anyone, including your District Attorney, is above the rule of law, yet traffic laws. Anyone who knows me knows for certain that I have dedicated my whole 33 years of professional service to ensuring this community’s health. My efforts to protect the security and respect of law police have been consistently proven. I stand by my job and my determination to Monroe County’s public security,” it states.
This will therefore be a fascinating year for Sandra Doorley. The letter below certainly does n’t help her and after re- reading her” Statement” released previously, this sentence will never age well..

But she’s not out of the dungeon however. All nine Rochester City Council members wrote to New York State Attorney General Letitia James asking for an investigation into what transpired after she was pulled over.
” New body camera film, shared by the Webster Police Department, has raised major concerns regarding Ms. Doorley’s behaviour during a traffic stop in Webster, New York,” the text reads, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.
We have been questioned about her health to serve as district attorney in the wake of this affair, and we think an inspection by your business is necessary. The behavior exhibited by Ms. Doorley during the traffic stop, as captured in the body cameras film, appears to violate these requirements. According to the notice,” this conduct undermines the reliability and integrity of our justice system and undermines public faith.”

In a later interview with the New York State Bar Association, Richard C. Lewis stated that James is indeed the right person to contact if the city government is looking into an inspection.
He said,” It’s improper for any public official to accept any rights and use their position to get some positive therapy.”
