Approximately 2, 000 pro-Israel counter-demonstrators gathered at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA ) on Sunday to protest near a” Palestine Solidarity Encampment” that was set up last week on campus.
As they arrived, some had to walk a labyrinth of about 100 pro- Arab protesters, some of whom were from the camp. Additionally, regional Black Lives Matter activists had urged supporters to back the pro-Israel protesters.

People, including little kids, endured the screaming, taunting, and pounding of the pro- Arab crowd — with no UCLA safety separating them.
According to a UCLA standard, the school lacked the necessary personnel to provide protection for the pro-Israel protesters. But, there were lots of surveillance soldiers guarding the “encampment”.
Other access points to the center of the square were blocked. One personal security personnel told Breitbart News that the activists ‘ personal security guards, dressed in bright jerseys, had authority “over” her.
In other words, UCLA successfully tasked pro-Palestinian activists with providing security, as Breitbart News reported on Friday, assaulting journalists who dare enter the public square. These same individuals have de facto given security to their posts.
Inside the pro- Israel opposition, the feeling was colorful, if angry. Trials began with , The Star- Studded Banner and , Hatikvah, the Jewish national anthem. Following speeches from school leaders and representatives of the local Jewish neighborhood, there was joyful Jewish music, to which the crowd anthemed by singing and dancing.

Two pro-Israel protesters positioned opposite the pro-Palestine protesters held photos of the Jewish hostages, 133 of whom are also being held by Hamas and about 100 of whom are thought to be alive, in front of the group.

There were several verbal altercations as pro-Palestinian protesters recently entered the pro-Israel crowd and as the two sides fought outside the protest, with only the Arab activists wearing bright jerseys in between them.
A pro-Palestinian advocate once attempted to seize an Israeli flag, which immediately became a fight that broke out.

Pro-Israel protesters began making fun of the numerous concealed, pro-Palestinian protesters with slogans of” Show your face”!
Many of the pro- Arab signs were extreme, Islamist, or usually offensive. A sign that read” Fuck Biden” was upped by one advocate on the Israeli side. Hell the USA”.

The barricade around the “encampment” also had some offensive slogans, including some that reflected the anti- police rhetoric of the Black Lives Matter movement. One panel said” Fuck UCPD”, referring to the campus police force — which has, thus far, allowed the encampment to continue undisturbed.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators appeared to have vandalized UCLA property, and one walkway had been spray-painted with the phrase” Say No to Genocide.” However, as the , Daily Bruin, the campus newspaper, reported Saturday, activists at the encampment have been permitted to receive large deliveries of food, and to use campus bathrooms.
Although taunts were much more common, there were sporadic instances of civil conversation at the protest’s edges.

UCLA is situated in the heart of one of the most pro- Israel areas in the country, surrounded by Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Westwood, which have large Jewish populations, including Persian Jews who escaped Iran’s Islamic revolution.
