The group leaders of Pakistan Tehreek e- Insaf reportedly vowed to continue the intensified fight for the transfer of party leader Imran Khan and the restoration of PTI’s” stolen mandate” at the” Train March” in Sukkur on Sunday.
Several thousand PTI staff and supporters boarded the Awam Express from Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah and all the railroad facilities on its way to meet the train protest. At each stop, plenty of others greeted marchers warmly.
According to a report from Dawn, dozens of men and ladies who were a part of a number of wagons and demonstrations that were held in the morning boarding the train from Landhi place.
Barrister Shoaib Shaheen, PTI’s northern chief, and Haleem Adil Shaikh, president of the Sindh chapter, pledged that the global struggle would continue until the goal was attained while addressing marchers before the train departed.
PTI Sindh General Secretary Advocate Ali Palh, retired Justice Noor- ul- Haq Qureshi, former MNA Fahim Khan, former MPA Jamal Siddiqui, Barrister Ali Tahir, Dr Masroor Siyal, Haji Nasir Arian, Sarina Adnan ( Sindh PTI’s women wing president ), Arsalan Khalid, Jansher Junejo, Rizwan Khanzada, Aman Qazi, Zain Kolachi, Wali Magheri and Advocate Danial Megsi also participated in the march.
The train after touching different stations including Serhari, Tando Adam, Shahdadpur, Daur, Bandhi, Nawabshah, Kot Laloo, Padidan, Kotri, Hyderabad, Mehrabpur, Bhriya, Setharja, Ranipur, Gambat and Khairpur reached Rohri.
PTI employees chanted slogans for the resumption of the PTI’s public mandate, which was given in the elections held on February 8 and warmly welcomed the marchers at all these stations. Many of the PTI workers held banners, inscribed with slogans, PTI flags and Imran Khan’s portraits.
On February 8, Pakistan held its 12th national general election, which was alleged to have been rigged and the cellular and internet services shut down.
Shoaib Shaheen and Haleem Shaikh, PTI leaders, addressed the workers at various stations. Shaheen congratulated PTI’s Sindh chapter for organising successful train march, Dawn reported.
He said,” Our struggle will continue, whether it’s through long march or rallies, until Imran Khan’s release”. Shaheen stated, The way the people of Sindh have welcomed today’s train march proves that they stand with Imran Khan,” Dawn reported.
According to Shoaib Shaheen, Sindh’s citizens will soon be able to break free from the clutches of the dacoits. He said”, Imran Khan will be out]of jail ] soon and he will ensure Haqeeqi Azadi ( real freedom ) for the nation. In the unjust system existing in the country, Imran Khan’s leadership is essentially needed for salvation.”
The train march was planned to “wake up decision-makers,” Haleem Sheikh said, who erred in saying that Pakistan’s citizens would accept their unlawful, unethical, and unconstitutional actions.
