A police officer was shot dead Sunday night before noon after a suspected armed robbery believe in Kenner, Louisiana.
Squirrel 8 Live reported that the think,  , 31- yr- old Matthew Lathers, was holed up in a house in Jefferson Parish and was sought for an alleged military robbery committed on Thursday.
Around 9:45 a.m., he shot and wounded two people in front of the Jefferson Parish home, allegedly to confuse the two with the authorities.
Finally, a SWAT Team invaded the apartment and sent a robot to search for Lathers. Three SWAT officers entered the home shortly after the robot’s immobilization and three untangled the cords or wires that caused the halt. Massages allegedly appeared with a shotgun and opened fire, wounding all three officers as they were doing that.
It is unknown whether Lathers was hurt in the trade, but CNN reported that at least one of the SWAT officers fired back and it was reported by CNN.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s deputies immediately arrived on the scene, and a rifle was able to capture and kill Massages.
Three of the three injured officials have been stabilized, and two of the three have been released from the hospital.
