
A 26-year-old man and a girl who is missing from two tech founders were found in San Francisco on Saturday.
Mint Butterfield, the child of businessman Slack director Stewart Butterfield and Flickr leader Caterina Fake, was located around 11: 30 p. m. in the state’s Tenderloin district, the San Francisco Standard reported Sunday.
Officers found the girl in a vehicle with a person identified as , Christopher” Kio” Dizefalo, who is now charged with abducting her.
Butterfield’s family contacted authorities on April 22 and , reported , her missing, according to Breitbart News:

According to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office,” the teenager had been living with her mother and was enrolled in a private boarding school in Napa” before disappearing, adding that she was believed to have been transported to the Tenderloin, a city known for open air drug dealing and substance use.
Butterfield supposedly has a history of substance misuse and has visited the area several days.

Dizefalo is suspected of coaxing Mint into leaving house six weeks earlier, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, calling him” an adult friend.
Dizefalo is accused of numerous felonies, including infant abduction, as well as a misdemeanor count of contributing to the crime of a minor, according to records. He is also in jail in Marin County on suspicion of two other felonies, including baby abduction. His bail is set at$ 50, 000.
Butterfield has since been reunited with her family, according to authorities.
According to a New York Post statement,” Mint, who is intersex and uses they/them pronouns, was deemed’ at- chance’ due to past threats of suicide”.
In a speech, Butterfield’s community, including uncle and , fellow technical founder Jyri Engeström, expressed gratitude to those who helped identify the teenager, per the Standard.
” A heartfelt thanks to all the family, associates, individuals and , strangers who called in ideas and made this treatment possible. We specifically want to thank the well-versed law enforcement personnel who are aware of the serious threat posed by teenagers who groom youngsters with the lure of drugs, the statement read.
