A group of Maldivians and Indians reportedly verbalized a group of Maldivians and other individuals near Male, leading to the arrest of a Maldivian on Tuesday, according to press reports.
The event occurred near Central Park in Hulhumale, about 7 miles north of Male, at about 9 pm on Monday, according to Adhadhu.com.
The man imprisoned, identified as a Maldivian by the officers, was arrested following the encounter. The injuries ‘ victims ‘ identities were not made public in the report, though.
The two people who suffered wounds were taken to Hulhumale Hospital for treatment before being discharged.
According to authorities, an encounter between a group of Maldivians and Indians took place within the park. Investigation into the issue is currently being conducted.
