The judge who is in charge of the former president’s company records case will allow him to go Barron Trump’s high school graduation the following month.
Judge Juan Merchan announced on Tuesday that Trump could have the time of his father’s graduation, May 17, out, the New York Times reported.
” I do n’t think the May 17 date is a problem”, Merchan said after waiting for weeks to issue a ruling on Trump’s request for the day off.
Judge Merchan enters the chair and advises that Trump does go Barron’s completion on May 17th.

According to Breitbart News ‘ Hannah Knudsen, Merchan had previously acknowledged the request but refrained from granting a ruling, citing Business Insider.

Trump blasted Merchan for taking his time to make a decision in a Truth Social post on April 16 and said he would not be able to go Barron’s initiation.

Despite Merchan decision in Trump’s favour on this front Tuesday, he held the 45th president in legal hatred and threatened him with prison time after ruling he violated the judge’s gag order, as Breitbart News’s Wendell Husebø reported.
” Defendant is hereby warned that the Court did not bear continued intentional breaches of its constitutional requests and that if necessary and appropriate under the circumstances, it may establish an incarceratory punishment”, the judge , wrote , in the attempt.
Trump was ordered to delete seven Truth Social content and two Truth Social messages from his campaign web in addition to a fine of$ 1, 000 per violation.
Trump claimed that Merchan violated his First Amendment rights on Truth Tuesday evening.

Merchan’s gag order , prevents , Trump from making public comments about witnesses regarding participation in the trial, counsel other than Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg ( D), “members of the court’s staff and the District Attorney’s staff, or … the family members of any counsel or staff member, if those statements are made with the intent to materially interfere with … counsel’s or staff’s work” on the case. Additionally, it forbids Trump from making any public remarks about any “any potential juror or any juror in this judicial proceeding.”
