Kamala Harris’ Niece Meena Uses Broadway’s ‘Cabaret’ to Push Abortion

Meena Harris, the sister of Vice President Kamala Harris, has joined her uncle in making abortion a key concern heading into November’s vote.

Meena Harris used the new Broadway production of Cabaret&nbsp as an opportunity to preserve pregnancy at the forefront of the larger social conversation in a guest row this week for Variety.

” Like any art, musicals can be intensely subjective experiences, it should be no surprise that some critics could n’t see themselves in Sally the way I did”, she wrote. However, it is unfathomable from the perception of women to understand that young American women are viewing this tale in a fresh way in the wake of Dobbs.

In Cabaret, Sally Bowles ( played on Broadway by&nbsp, Gayle Rankin ) becomes pregnant by an unknown father and contemplates having an abortion. Her near friend Clifford tries to persuade her to have the child, but she rejects it and consents to the off-stage pregnancy.

After her pregnancy, Meena Harris wrote, Sally Bowles feels like a current person.

She is “raw and true,” and she is good suffering both emotionally and physically. She does n’t sing, dance or exist to please others—including, it should be said, us in the audience. Instead, we see a person who in spite of all, has chosen herself. A person who has chosen to live”.

    Harris continued:

” We all have to make that kind of difficult decision knowing that we could be forced to do it any day.” We all have a sincere love that such a choice is currently theirs to make. And we’re all tired of putting on a lovely face and pretending everything’s good by carrying those conflicting thoughts. That’s why this Sally feels like our Sally”.

Vice President Kamala Harris has traveled extensively throughout the state recently in an effort to arouse jaded Democrats ‘ support for President Joe Biden, who is currently receiving record-low approval ratings.

She just visited Arizona following the express ‘s&nbsp, upholding of an 1864 regulation that bars almost all pregnancies.

Kamala Harris ‘” Battle for Reproductive Freedoms Tour” has targeted some battleground states, including Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia.
