A British Border Force official claims that children are also being used as “human shields” when they confront police because of the increase in violent behavior from people-smuggling gangs and illegal immigrants along the French coast.
According to Carol Heginbottom, deputy director of the UK’s Border Force’s Small Boats Operational Command, the circumstance “is getting worse” as improper smugglers and human trafficking gangs on the French beaches start to fret over legislation passed last week that supposedly allows Britain to eliminate illegal boat migrants to Rwandan asylum processing facilities at taxpayer’s expense.
” We’ve seen them ]attack police ] with sticks, metal bars, machetes, using women and children that are there to cross, using them as human shields to prevent law enforcement taking action” , , Heginbottom told GB News.
” The murder that is now being shown to our French colleagues in an effort to stop these organised criminal gangs that are putting people’s lives in danger is enormous,” she said, adding that “it’s getting worse and we need to keep pushing ahead” at stopping these organised criminal gangs that are putting people in danger.
The comments came in the wake of a immigrant being shot and critically wounded as rival people- sneaking gangs squared off at the Loon- Plage migratory camp near Dunkirk, with witnesses apparently saying that , “individuals took out rifles, Kalashnikov- type weapons”  , to” settle scores”.  ,
The European Navy frequently takes the small boats to UK regional waters, where they are handed off to the American Border Force and charity coastguards, and then brought to sea at Dover, where they are frequently escorted by French police to intensify their protection efforts.

The rise in officers exercise comes in the wake of yet another tragic incident in which five persons, including a seven-year-old child, perished after falling from an overcrowded immigrant boat. France received strong condemnation for the navy’s actions, which rather chose to continue escorting the boat into American waters more than returning the boat to shore after the drownings.
As migratory vessels have threatened to harm themselves and even their own kids if they were interfering with them, Paris has argued that it would be uncomfortable and allegedly illegal under their understanding of global maritime rules. Different nations like Australia have their own opinions on whether the process is legal, with former prime minister Tony Abbott’s wildly successful Operation Sovereign Borders all but ending illegal immigrant vessel crossings from Indonesia, the island nation.
An officer was pictured slitting an inflatable boat as it attempted to leave from the  at Gravelines shore, near Dunkirk, using cutlery to thwart the unlawful crossing of the Channel. Yet, despite their efforts, a further 500 vessel migrants safely arrived over the weekend, taking the total for the year to , 7, 167, a fresh all- time high for the first second of the year.

However, a political solution to the French and Italian hostility may be emerging as a result of Ireland drafting urgent legislation to send the growing number of migrants crossing the UK’s Northern Ireland illegally in order to flee before the British Home Office detains them in Rwanda.
Downing Street asserted with new leverage that it would not retake any Irish migrants as long as France, a member of the EU, rejects Channel migrant returns. If alleged asylum seekers from the Middle East, Africa, and the Balkans are still able to enter the European Union’s external borders, it is still unclear whether Britain will persuade France to do so.
