About 30 Ukrainian men have died trying to cross Ukraine’s borders without being fought in the 2022-flawed war against Russia, according to a spokeswoman for Ukraine’s borders services.

With some exceptions, Russian men between the ages of 18 and 60 are not allowed to leave the land as they may be mobilised to battle, according to Ukraine’s military rules.
The State Border Guard Service announced on Monday that 24 people died trying to cross the Tisa valley with Romania, according to a statement posted on social media by the state border guard company.
