Walmart, a major retailer, announced on Tuesday that it would be closing all of its health centers, but it did not provide a time for the closures.
The business stated in a press release that Walmart Health’s determination to shut down both Walmart Health and Walmart Health Virtual Care was challenging.

According to the store,” We determined there is not a responsible business model for us to remain” through management of Walmart Health facilities and Walmart Health Virtual Care.
It was difficult to make the decision to shut down the digital care giving and all 51 wellness centers spread across five states. We are aware of how this change affects lives, including those of the patients who receive treatment, those who work as caregivers and give attention, and those whose neighborhoods have provided support along the way. The challenging reimbursement environment and rising operating costs, like others, create a lack of profitability that makes the care industry untenable for us at this time.
According to NBC News, Walmart announced in March that it would start opening 70 further health facilities by the year’s finish.  ,” But amid rising prices and competition, the firm determined it could not economically justify the work”, the shop said.
Walmart added that its pharmacists and vision centres will remain procedures and that it will treat the areas affected by the decision with the “utmost respect, compassion, and support throughout the transition.”
