An pro- Israel activist, who was part of a team that took , over a tower on the school of Columbia University, complained about a officers raid and asked to “go house”.
Learners who had participated in an anti-Israel encampment on Tuesday night could be heard complaining that NYPD officials would not let them leave when the intellectual creating was raided by police that night.
Anti- Israel demonstrators carried walls into the developing, smashed the glass doorways of the creating, and hung pro- Arab banners from the windows.
” They just barricaded us in”, one protester could be heard saying.

After numerous reports and video showed Suspect officers in riot gear carrying out a raid on the school, Columbia University issued a speech.
In its statement, the school said NYPD officials “arrived on school” a tiny after 9: 00 p. m. and that the school was “left with no option”:
We regret that the protesters made the decision to cause the condition to worsen. After the University learned miraculously that Hamilton Hall had been occupied, vandalized, and blockaded, we were left with no choice. A part of our facilities group was threatened, and Columbia public security personnel were forced to leave the building. We wo n’t take the chance of further escalation or the safety of our community at risk.
Prior to the anti-Israel protesters’ taking control of the tower, Columbia University had set a deadline of 2 p.m. on Monday for students to keep.
On April 17, Columbia University established its first anti-Israel camp. Numerous students were suspended the following morning, and thousands of protesters were detained.
While the original anti-Israel encampment was removed by Columbia University, a second one popped up in its place.
