After a nearly a week of the attack, UCLA allowed pro-Palestinian activists to operate their own protection and obstruct access to students and the general public. This was in addition to allowing the camp to hold the main plaza on campus.
The , Daily Bruin, the scholar paper, reported , the conflicts:
Fireworks, break oil and fights broke out just after 10: 50 p. m. Tuesday evening and continued , earlier Wednesday morning  , as around 100 pro- Israel counter-top- protesters attempted to seize the wall around  , and surprise the continued Palestine solidarity encampment in Dickson Plaza.
…
Counter-protesters and activists inside the campment started fighting after the walls were downed. Counter-protesters immediately threw lights into the camp just after 11 p.m., and irritating toxins were released from both edges. Directly sprayed in the face, a Daily Bruin writer.
…
Protesters inside the camp claimed in a separate statement released at 3:30 a.m. that the school had failed to protect students sufficiently, and they had called for the college to follow up earlier statements.
The , Daily Bruin reported “multiple occurrences of desk- protesters antagonizing the camp” in recent days, but failed to notice murder by the members of the camp.

Videos had been broadcast for days about students being denied entry to classes and walkways by masked pro-Palestinian activists, including but not limited to those who could show a specific wristband, including but not limited to clearly Jewish students.
As protestors were criticized for the school’s policy of allowing protesters to limit the movements of Israeli students, parent @UCLA granted permission to release this audio of her phone conversation with @UCLAPD.

A UCLA security company told Breitbart News on Sunday that the school had delegated protection to the campaigners. ( Two days prior, activists had used force to escort me out of the camp. )
The region in front of Royce Hall is regarded as a public place because UCLA is a public university that is funded by the government.
The” Palestine Solidarity Encampment” and the apparent devotion of school officials toward it shocked many members of the Jewish group.
One of the country’s most pro-Israel neighborhoods is close to UCLA. Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Bel Air include a large number of Hebrew people, particularly Iranian Immigrants, many of whom escaped the Islamic revolution in Iran.
A sizable amount of Jewish emigrants reside in Los Angeles.
Counter-protesters and protesters had been fighting for days, starting last Thursday, and hostilities had accumulated. One prank woke up the protesters on Friday by playing Robin Williams’s talk from Good Morning, Vietnam.
A pro-Israel group set up a huge video display opposite the campment to show footage of Hamas atrocities in a continuous loop following clashes at a pro-Israel counter-demonstration on Sunday.
Gov. As the activists used violence to patrol the perimeter of the encampment, Gavin Newsom ( D), who had done nothing to ensure the safety of students on campus, issued a statement on X that he was keeping an eye on the situation:
Our company is carefully monitoring the situation at @UCLA.
This night, law enforcement officials are in touch, and resources are being used.

On media outlets, images of the California Highway Patrol in riot gear appeared, suggesting that the position had suddenly intervened after Newsom and UC President Michael Drake had been omitted from the subject of camps for months.

The New York Police Department stormed Hamilton Hall at Columbia University hours after the incident, which included pro-Palestinian protesters who had smashed their manner into the building early on Tuesday night, took control of the scene.
The UCLA management lastly issued a declaration on Tuesday, warning that the camp was unconstitutional and that it had “demanded law enforcement investigations into claims of murder” by the protesters at the camp.
However, law enforcement just moved in after the pro-Israel party arrived and began storming the walls, separating the two factors. What will be left to be seen in the surviving portion of the camp as things progress.
