
A subsequent Boeing journalist passed away on Tuesday after a brief disease. The journalist claimed that Spirit AeroSystems , the company’s management ignored manufacturing flaws on the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, claiming to be a former quality control accountant.
Joshua Dean, 45, had been good before he started having an illness about two weeks ago, according to The Seattle Times. Carol Parsons, Dean’s uncle, explained that Dean was hospitalized in critical condition after he experienced difficulty breathing. The journalist from Boeing was intubated and developed asthma and an MRSA fungal infection.
After his condition worsened, Dean was transported from Wichita, Kansas, to a clinic in Oklahoma City, where his wellbeing continued to deteriorate quickly. A CT test revealed that Dean also had a stroke in addition to the infection.
Before his suicide, health experts had considered cutting Dean’s hands and feet, according to The Seattle Times. ” It was terrible what he went through”, Perkins explained. ” Heartbreaking”.
Following Dean’s dying on Tuesday, Joe Buccino, a Spirit director, said,” Our thoughts are with Josh Dean’s home. This shocking loss is heartbreaking information for both his family and himself.
According to The Seattle Times, Dean had formerly testified in a Spirit petition and lodged a complaint with the FAA, alleging that Spirit committed” serious and gross wrongdoing by top quality management of the 737 manufacturing line.”

According to The Seattle Times, Dean claimed he was fired because he raised health problems with Spirit in April of 2023. The same law firm that represented Boeing whistleblower John Barnett, who was recently discovered dead outside a South Carolina hotel allegedly due to a” self-inflicted gunshot wound,” represented Dean, according to the store.
In October of this year, Dean claimed to have found a vital flaw at Spirit. He warned that mechanics had poorly drilled openings in the Boeing 737 MAX plane’s forward force wall. Dean claimed that no action was taken to solve the manufacturing defect despite warning control about the problem.
Dean allegedly missed another producing error during the same inspection, according to The Seattle Times. Dean was fired when the weakness was later found and caused a delivery wait in a Boeing manufacturing grow in April 2023.
