Senator J. D. Vance ( R- OH) said Wednesday on CNN’s” The Cause” that it was “absurd” to say former President Donald Trump endangered life on January 6, 2021.
Guest Kaitlan Collins asked,” Does it offer you any wait to get his vice chairman given how he is treated, Mike Pence”?
Vance said,” Kaitlin, I’m really skeptical that Mike Pence’s life was ever in risk. People occasionally try to truly exaggerate things, in my opinion, but politics and politicians do that.
He added,” A lot of people in the Democratic Party, Kaitlan, act as if January 6 was the scariest time of their life. I think look, January 6 was a terrible time. It was a mob, but the idea that Donald Trump endangered anyone’s life when he told them to rally calmly, it’s really absurd”.
Vance added,” Did a few people say some negative stuff? Confident. But do we hold Donald Trump accountable for every uncivilized statement made by a member of National politics? I think that’s an absurd normal”.
According to him,” The Trump administration is trying to prevent Donald Trump from fighting and taking his situation to the American people as hide their own candidate,” Kaitlin, in my opinion.
