On his” Morning Joe” program, MSNBC number Joe Scarborough said on Thursday that people should switch to another network if they were too stupid to realize how bad the protests on college campuses are for President Joe Biden’s chances of winning in November.
Discussing the Vietnam War demonstrations, Scarborough said,” I was young and realize my kids asking, what in the world is going on in this state? And, of course, you know, they were raised in the Great Depression and remote Georgia. It was a little difficult for them to learn that wealthy students are relocating to Harvard or taking over Columbia colleges.
He continued,” If you’re offended by this, please, I’m trying to help you. I do n’t want Donald Trump to get elected. All straight? I’m trying to help you. If you’re very terrible to figure that out, you can alter to another channel. Because we’re sorting through this as a state. And this is not helping. The citizens of Gaza are not being helped by this. And this is not at all helpful to those of us who want to fight authoritarianism in America.
He added,” You remember 68. It was a tidal storm. Reagan won with a large number of younger voters in 1980 for a purpose. There’s a cause the Reagan Revolution took place. In 1968, the seeds were planted. And once, when I say that, I’m not saying that the Vietnam War was n’t an unjust war, it was”.
