EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The most interesting two moments in sports may include a Borderland burst to it come Saturday, as this year’s success of the Sunland Derby, Stronghold, is set to Run for the Roses.
In the 150th working of the Kentucky Derby, Stronghold held the record for winning the milestone event by drawing blog number 17. Some sporting experts are predicting a best- 5 end for Stronghold, whose group includes cowboy Antonio Fresu, trainer Philip D’Amato, and owners Eric and Sharon Waller.
The three- season- aged horse was a 3- 2 betting favourite in February’s running of the Sunland Derby, a contest Stronghold won with a recorded time of 1: 42.64. Stronghold earned 25 points in the Kentucky Derby as a result of the win, along with a$ 400,000 prize.
