Prapaporn Choeiwadkoh, a 45- year- ancient lawmaker from the Sukhothai province of Thailand, was suspended by the Thai Democrat Party this week after her 64- year- ancient husband caught her in bed with the couple’s 24- year- ancient adopted son Phra Maha, a Buddhist monk.
Southeast Asia is awash with the incident, mainly in China, where advancements are closely followed like any soap opera.
” A 64- yr- ancient husband, a 45- year- older wife, and a 24- year- ancient adopted son who is a monk? This is such a disaster. It sounds more like adopting a boy’s toys than keeping one. Even dramas do n’t dare to script this”, said a typical Chinese social media user quoted by the South China Morning Post (SCMP ) on Wednesday.,
” This information is violent, with too many factors. It sounds like true fantasy. The world of the rich is truly amazing and chaotic”, said another.
Prapaporn, known to her followers as” Madam Ple”, joined the Thai Democrat Party in March 2023. She is now the president of a Sukhothai chamber of commerce, which she considers to be powerful and has a large social media following. She has never held an official status within their business, according to Democratic Party leaders, and has not been active in gathering affairs since the general elections in May.
Prapaporn and her father, a wealthy real estate developer who goes by the name” Ti”, adopted the young priest Phra Maha from a church last year, apparently because Prapaporn “felt guilty” for his circumstances.
Ti’s comments, according to The UK Daily Mail, were initially undeniably reprehensible given that his wife had a fondness for fresh monks.
” My family has always been very spiritual. We also met at the nearby temple. But he said,” I just noticed that she was spending more time with the younger clergy.”
” I actually saw her enter a monk’s house with the curtains closed. I knocked on the door for a while, but nothing responded. When she came out I was cautious, but she said she had been praying with the monk”, he said.
Over the past year, Ti’s sister’s marriage with Phra Maha has grown increasingly suspect. When she failed to return his enquiries while he was away, things got heated. He drove home from Bangkok, a journey of about five and a half days, and barged into child’s bedroom with his digital camera running, catching Prapaporn and the priest dressed under the bedding.
” Are you two very happy”? In the video that would become a viral sensation, Ti can be heard snarling at his startled wife and lover.
” I was so angry when I found them together, I feel so betrayed. I had brought her gold and given her many gifts”, he said in a subsequent interview. I believe that this boy defrauded and manipulated my wife, as I believe he did.
Prapaporn claimed that she and Phra Maha had not engaged in sexual activity.
” Nothing happened, it’s not what it looks like in the video. He had some problems, so we were just talking together, and then we were going to shower”, she said, not really doing much to help her case.
According to the SCMP, Phra Maha has “left the monkhood and gone into hiding”. Buddhist monks are not permitted to be alone in a room with a woman, but they are also supposed to maintain their celibacy. Nude counseling sessions with attractive married women are simply out of the question.
