After a week of violent disruption, police arrested dozens of activists early on Thursday at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA ) and broke down wooden barricades there.
According to a report from Breitbart News, authorities warned activists to leave the area on Wednesday, and they began massing near Royce Hall with incarceration buses on local Wilshire Blvd. Thousands of protesters came to UCLA to “defend” the campsite.
After a tense standoff that lasted for several hours, with protesters making speeches, leading” Free Palestine” chants, and singing communist songs, police moved in, with California Highway Patrol ( CHP ) officers leading the charge.

As the officers began destroying sturdy walls and tents, some of the campaigners escaped. However, some slammed against the authorities and locked their arms. Some officers were armed with flashing flashing lights or firing chemical irritants.

The camp lasted for a year. Until pro-Israel vigilantes attacked the camp Tuesday evening into Wednesday night, prompting authorities to work, ULA security guarded it and delegated protection authority to the activists. ( Local authorities have promised to prosecute the vigilantes. )
In the interim, protesters assaulted journalists and blocked UCLA students, including Israeli kids, from accessing the school and its services in the area of the camp. Additionally, they carried out and chanted slogans like” From the valley to the sea/Palestine may be free” and” Intifada revolution,” which Jews find racist because they refer to the Holocaust and violence against Jews.
