Paris ( AP ) – In response to similar encampments and solidarity demonstrations in the United States, French police peacefully removed dozens of students from a building at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, known as Sciences Po, who had gathered in support of Palestinians on Friday.
As Israel continues its rude following the fatal Hamas-led attack on October 7 that sparked the Israeli-Hamas war, students waved Arab banners and chanted slogans in support of residents of Gaza.
Since Thursday night, the Sciences Po tower has been occupied. The principal buildings had been closed, and classes had moved to internet.

Pro-Palestinian students planned to stage a protest after on Friday in front of the Pantheon statue, close to the prestigious Sorbonne University, to demand that Israel put an end to its unpleasant in Gaza.
On Thursday, related rallies took place in some other universities across the country, including in Lille and Lyon.
The Prime Minister’s Office reported that officers had been instructed to” clearly evacuate all learners from 23 places on French schools on Thursday” and that” all were evacuated within a few hours.”
According to a speech, a police presence may be maintained close to Sciences Po to stop any further embargoes.
The prestigious school, which houses President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Gabriel Attal among its numerous well-known students, recently experienced conflicts that broke out nearby. In a stalemate outside Sciences Po, pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protesters squared off against one another. The parties were separated by Riot authorities.
As pro-Palestinian individuals agreed to leave, the opposition ended calmly.
