Seven Jewish survivors of the Hamas evil invasion of October 7, 2023 are suing American organizations, including Students for Justice in Palestine, who claim to be behind Hamas ‘ advertising campaign.
The complaint, filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria, claims that , the AJP Educational Foundation, Inc., also known as American Muslims for Palestine ( AMP), and its offshoot, National Students for Justice in Palestine ( NSJP), are acting as a “propaganda arm” of the Hamas terrorist organization in the United States, The plaintiffs, who are victims, survivors, and relatives of victims of the October 7 attack, are seeking damages for the “pain and suffering” caused by AMP and NSJP’s alleged “material support” to Hamas through their advocacy.
Students for Justice in Palestine ( SJP) gave a” toolkit” to activists on American campuses to mark the anniversary of the September 7 attack as the beginning of the Jewish state, according to a report from Breitbart News in October.
That” kit” forms a key part of the problem, as evidence of a coordinated efforts by AMP, NSJP, and SJP chapters to support Hamas’s murderous aims efforts by undermining U. S. public and government assistance for Israel’s self- defense.
The problem walks through the story of evil funding for Hamas in the United States, and alleges that AMP is” just a rebirth” of past businesses that were prosecuted, operating with the same persons and objectives.
It adds:
AMP’s information to college schools through NSJP is clear: aggressive attacks are a justified reaction to Zionism as an thought, to Israel as an object, and to Zionists as people. In order to promote peace and tolerance for Jews and anyone else associated with Israel, this message is intended to justify Hamas and its affiliates ‘ terrorism in Western academia and society as a whole as well as to foster a culture of acceptable, justifiable, or even heroic violence.
…
Defendants provide ongoing, continuous, systematic, and material support for Hamas and its affiliates in precisely the same way that]their banned predecessors ] used to: by operating and managing Hamas’s mouthpiece for North America, dedicated to sanitizing Hamas’s atrocities and normalizing its terrorism.
…
Hamas and its allies ‘ demands for widespread protests and support are consistently met by defendants. Indeed, Defendants seem to almost always answer the calls from Hamas, and Hamas, in turn, continues to express its organizational appreciation.
These organizations are linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps ( IRGC ) and its calls for action, according to the complaint.
The “encampment” movement, which is repeated throughout university campuses, is also a part of Hamas ‘ propaganda campaign.
The complaint asserts that the issue is not political speech or advocacy but rather material support for terrorism and its propaganda goals in the United States, anticipating a First Amendment defense of the lawsuit’s claims.
The case is Parizer, et al. v.  , AJP Educational Foundation, et al., Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division,  , No. 1: 24- cv- 00724- RDA- IDD.
