A picture of light sorority kids protesting left-wing pro-Palestinian followers who were marching on the University of Mississippi school sparked the former ESPN character Jemele Hill.
As Hamas continues to vow to remove Jews, about 30 activists gathered on the Old Miss Quad to show their support for Palestinians. However, their opposition even brought a larger amount of counter- protests, some dressed in the red, white, and violet of our national flag and some carrying Trump flags. The desk- protesters laughed at and mocked the pro- Arab protesters.
One picture of the taunting sent The Atlantic , contributor to contact for an inspection by college authorities, labeling the actions of a counter- protester to become “racist”.
Responding to an X user’s video in which he accused a purportedly frat member of dancing like a monkey in front of a black protester, Hill argued that the “open hostility directed at Black students” will not cause the same level of concern as those who are concerned about antisemitism. And she requested that at least one of the frat boys be “barred from campus.”
” 1 ) What fraternity does he represent? That fraternity’s national leadership needs to be contacted immediately, and that frat should be barred from campus”, she wrote.
She continued,” 2 ) We have recently seen endless conversations and action items about antisemitism, but I’m guessing that the same energy wo n’t be there to stop this open hostility toward Black students,” adding that there has never been any discussion of racism in the United States.

Hill won the support of some of her X followers.
” Look at the smirks and self- congratulation on the faces of these white racists”, X user Matthew Spira exclaimed.
Look at these white racists ‘ faces, which smirks and expresses self-gratification.

Another of Hill’s fans hinted that he thinks everyone in Mississippi is racist, writing,” Average person and day in Mississippi”.
Another claimed that the video demonstrated that all southern states were racist.
This is why I discourage my children from going to any universities in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and South Carolina, I’m not sending my kids to school to network with abusers.

Others, however, wondered how Hill could support the black woman’s right to free speech while ignoring the frat boys she wants to have removed from their classrooms.
One X user, for instance, asked Hill if she only supports the “free speech for your side”?
So you do n’t like this free speech?
Your side only has free speech, right?

Many more agreed that Hill was being hypocritical:
On both sides, it appears to be free speech.
But 1 supports Hamas the other does n’t— Sweet Xyience ( @SweetXyience ) May 3, 2024
Exercising free speech, right … or are you saying it’s free speech that you do n’t like?
— le slick ( @leslick3 ) May 3, 2024
Oh no, you no longer care when someone makes inflammatory remarks or actions toward someone, but it’s acceptable when they do it against Jewish students.

Left-wing demonstrators have squabblingly shut down higher education facilities in recent weeks while standing up for Palestinians and Hamas. Several counter-protests gathered earlier this week to mock the pro-Palestine demonstrators and protect the flag from being desecrated.
