Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, confirmed on Friday that Ankara would help the ideology evil organization Hamas by announcing on Friday that it would halt all imports and exports to Israel.
” There was a trade volume of$ 9.5 billion between us”, Erdogan told reporters on Friday. ” Avoiding this business level, we closed the door”.
In his comments on Friday, Erdogan called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “relentless” and accused him of unfairly targeting Israeli civilians in the continuous Israeli self-defense procedure against Hamas. The Greek president objects to the operation, which is intended to mitigate Hamas-controlled territory and plunder Israel, on the grounds that Israelis reportedly target Israeli civilians who are subjugated by Hamas. Netanyahu’s government approved the activity in response to the murder of an estimated 1, 200 people, violence of 2, 500, and common abuse, group murder, and destruction of the corpses of Israelis during Hamas’s battle of Israel on October 7.
Following the horrors of October 7, Erdogan was one of the first world leaders to stand up for Hamas, frequently stating that it is” not a criminal business” and comparing Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler.

Erdogan reportedly made no effort to stop the poverty-stricken Palestinians from being killed by Israel and” all American nations” in his comment on Friday.
Erdogan’s announcement came after the Greek Trade Ministry announced on Thursday that it would suspend all import and export relations to Israel.
The Trade Ministry claimed that “our region has evacuated thousands of patients and stood by our Arab brothers and sisters in these difficult days” and that” since the first day, our nation has rushed to the aid of the people of Gaza” by using ships and planes to deliver tens of thousands of tons of humanitarian assistance to the area.
Turkey wo n’t resume trade with Israel until it permits what it perceives as an “uninterrupted and sufficient flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza,” according to the Trade Ministry.
The two countries are among each other’s top trade partners, of the$ 9.5 billion in trade volume between them, an estimated$ 5 billion was  , represented by Turkish exports to Israel before the two countries began limiting their commercial interactions.
Turkish authorities had immediately restricted trade with Israel on April 9, identifying 54 materials, including building materials, chemical fertilizers, and material that Turkish companies may no longer legally offer to Israeli companies. Then, Israel reacted by urging private companies to impose restrictions on their business dealings with Turkey. Israel Katz, a foreign minister, warned at the time that Jerusalem would “respond accordingly and create an extensive list of additional products that Israel will not export.”
The Israeli government initially stated on Thursday that it was still trying to clarify the terms of the Turkish Trade Ministry’s announced embargo. Katz issued a separate statement, however, condemning Erdogan personally for having” crossed a line” with the new measure.
” This is how a dictator behaves, trampling on the interests of the Turkish people, businessmen, and ignoring international trade agreements”, Katz denounced. The Foreign Ministry Director-General has been given the directive to engage all interested parties in conversation to find alternative business options for Turkey.
” Israel will grow stronger from this and have a strong economy. We win, and they lose”, he affirmed.
Erdogan’s Turkey has supported Hamas in some of the most ostentatious international agreements. The president plainly declared on October 25, less than a month before the unprecedented siege of Israel,” Hamas is not a terrorist organization, it is a group of , mujahideen , defending their lands”.

Erdogan also addressed the” Great Palestine Rally,” a gathering that the Turkish government claimed had gathered in Istanbul that month and claimed to have had 1.5 million people there. He reiterated that Hamas was not a terrorist organization and that Israel was a “war criminal” state.
More recently, in late April, Erdogan welcomed the “political” head of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, to Istanbul to discuss cooperation:

In his speech announcing to his Islamist Justice and Development Party ( AKP ) Haniyeh’s April visit, Erdogan declared he would “be the voice of the oppressed Palestinian people … as long as God grants ]him ] life”.
” When no one else would speak, we stood up and said: ‘ Hamas is not a terrorist organization, but a resistance group,'” Erdogan , boasted.
In addition, the Turkish government is attempting to lead international court cases against Israel, alleging that Hamas is using civilians as a tool of its operations. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the announcement on Wednesday that Turkey would seek to join a South African-initiated ongoing legal action against Israel, accusing Israel of “genocide.” Hamas ‘ genocidal actions on October 7 and its explicitly genocidal intention to annihilate Israel have not been condemned similarly by Turkey or South Africa.
