In San Jose, California’s Saint Teresa community, two police officers were shot and hurt on Thursday.
The East Bay Times reported , that the event occurred around 10: 30 p. m.
When shots were fired and two officers were hurt, officers were responding to a disturbance call at an Extended Stay America in” the 6100 wall of San Ignacio Avenue.”
When the suspect opened fire, the soldiers had really made contact with him during the disturbance call. One of the soldiers who was hurt is in critical condition, according to NBC Bay Area.
The suspect is also in critical condition and was hit by gain fire.
More than any other state in the Union has gun control laws.  , CalMatters , noted , that California adopted an “assault arms” embargo in 1989 and universal background investigations in 1991. Also, California “boosted” their “assault weaponry” embargo in 2000, adding restrictions against publications holding more than ten rounds.
In addition to the decades- ancient “assault weapons” ban, magazine ban, and general background checks, the state even has a red flag law, a 10- day waiting period on gun purchases, gun registration requirements, a ban on college campus carry for self- defense, previously categorized sensitive places in which even licensed concealed carriers are never allowed to be armed for self- defense, a ban on K- 12 teachers being armed for classroom defense, and numerous other controls.
Moreover, on July 15, 2022, Breitbart News , explained , that Gov. Legislation that makes gun manufacturers subject to lawsuits was signed by Governor Gavin Newsom ( D).
