Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ( DEI ) offices should be “abolished” within the Central Intelligence Agency ( CIA ) and the intelligence community, Cliff Sims, who served as the deputy director of national intelligence under former President Donald Trump, said during an interview on Breitbart News Saturday, adding that he was surprised to see the DEI office in the CIA headquarters and by the “politicization” inside the intelligence community.
When Sims was asked the first time to enter the CIA office building and saw DEI and transgender-positive advertisements on the walls, Sims responded that the “politicization of the intellect group” had shocked him. This is what Sims described in his forthcoming book, The Darkness Has No Overcome.
” The DEI department, the militarization of the intelligence society in pushing the woke social objective, and how I was first shocked when I entered,” said the woman. And, one of the things I realized very quickly is that among a lot of my colleagues in the brains society, there’s a lot of really great people there, individuals trying to do the right thing, trying to protect the region that they eat, sleep, and breathe British national security and protect the U. S. objectives and the American people”, Sims explained.
” But, even those people were scared, intimidated by the DEI office and the various DEI mandates that exist, and you know, the pressure to use people’s pronouns. A current intelligence officer described how being a cross-dresser helped him excel at his position as an intelligence analyst in an internal intelligence community journal that was published a few months ago. This kind of activity needs to end. I mean, the Biden administration in their national intelligence strategy, which is basically the playbook for how the U. S. intelligence community is going to prioritize different issues, they’ve made various diversity, equity, and inclusion benchmarks”.
Sims added that an article in the journal of the internal intelligence community discussed how to use one’s words sparingly, particularly when referring to” the Chinese communist party,” to avoid offending Asian Americans.
In the same publication that I mentioned a few minutes ago, an article about how when talking about the Chinese communist party, you need to be very cautious with the use of certain words because we do n’t want to offend anyone who is a Muslim in the intelligence community.
The DEI office has grown to be such a powerful and intimidating force that it is having an impact on the workplace culture there. This is the kind of craziness you’re seeing there. So, the natural question is, what should we do? Let’s take the money they’ve been using for that stuff and use it to further strengthen our ability to face the growing and adversarial China that is the real national security threat, which is rising and becoming increasingly difficult to defend. If Trump is elected, I believe number one should be removed from the intelligence community DEI offices.
” There’s also things like, no one should have to sacrifice their religious beliefs as a condition of employment. Officers who do not want to participate in mandated DEI training, forced pronoun usage, and other such things must be protected by the First Amendment. And I believe that some of the intelligence community’s talent recruitment efforts have historically been focused on removing students from Ivy League institutions, which is even more fundamental. Many intelligence officers come from that background.
Instead,” we need to be out there attracting more students from HBCUs, top students from state schools, and you know, top students.” In light of the alarming rise of antisemitism on these campuses, it is becoming increasingly difficult to argue that these so-called elite institutions are the best places to train a truly diverse workforce in the intelligence community. These institutions have become woke indoctrination factories.
