Attorney George Conway said Friday on CNN’s” The Situation Room” that , previous plan press secretary and White House communications director , Hope Hicks ‘ witness was a “devastating nail punch” to , former President Donald Trump.
Conway remarked,” At that point, Michael Cohen had done that out of the god of his soul,” and that she claimed Donald Trump knew about the payment and that he lied to her about it. but she falsely claimed that Donald Trump knew Michael Cohen had paid him money before the vote, and that is “devastating testimony”
He continued,” We all all remember that weekend of when the Access Hollywood tape dropped. I mean, as Hope Hicks testified, it was a cyclone that weekend and nobody covered the storms. And there was absolutely no cause to believe that any additional reports about Trump’s behavior toward women would be harmful to him, which is why, and frankly, it’s the justification for cooking this stuff away.
Conway added,” She did not want to be there. This devastating nail punch was not intended by her, which strengthens her trust. If you were writing a Law and Order event or a script about a politician’s test, you would have a witness who was so near, so loyal, and so beloved in the Trump family, who was crying on the stand while giving evidence that had placed her former boss in state prison in New York. I mean, it’s really it’s it’s a very serious time. Every word she said will never be forgotten by the judge, and it will always be believed by them.
