After meeting with President Joe Biden, Mark Hamill made a surprise appearance in the White House’s media briefing area.
The Star Wars writer’s visit came a moment before May the 4th, an annual day of event for the company.
” There’s no advantages that really is needed”, White House press secretary Karine Jean- Pierre said. As you can see, Mark Hamill has made the decision to come join us on this great Friday. And, I am really excited to move it over to Mr. Hamill.
Hamill, who is renowned for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise, asked the room’s reporters if any of them had bingo cards with the phrase” Mark Hamill may direct the press meeting.”

The artist referred to Biden as the “most effective president” in Hamill’s lifetime, adding that he felt honored that he was asked to visit the White House.
He acknowledged that he only “expected to be there for like five days” and that Biden had taken photos when asked by a writer what Kennedy and Biden had discussed.
” I called him Mr. President, he said,’ You may visit me Joe,’ and I said,’ Can I contact you Joe- Bi- Won Kenobi?’ He liked that,” Hamill added.
Hamill has long been a steadfast admirer of Biden. He most just quoted- tweeted a publish on X from Biden that claimed” Donald Trump is the worst leader we’ve always had.” ” The professional wrote that Biden was the” best leader we’ve always had.”
Hamill hosted a virtual fundraiser for Biden in June 2020 as Biden competed against previous president Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.
