Navalny’s princess accepts his belated McCain Institute honor for courage, leadership | The Hill

” My dad was a really extraordinary brave man,” he said. His endurance, enthusiasm, and dedication to a better Russia]was ] unwavering”, Navalnaya said, according to a blog from the McCain Institute’s consideration on X.
According to a website on the McCain Institute’s site, the” Course &, Leadership Award” is presented “each season in honor of a person who has stood adamantly for fundamental principles and has inspired the world through selfless confidence.”
The McCain Institute hopes to inspire the confidence in each of us to fight for what we believe is correct by honoring this service to humanity, according to the award’s website. ” The receiver is selected based on his or her deeds of individual courage on behalf of human right, humanitarian compassion, justice, liberty, and individual dignity”.
Navalny’s death, which occurred in February, has been attributed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, but a top U.S. intelligence official claimed last week that Putin good did not order the opposition party’s death. Putin is still ultimately responsible for Navalny’s death, but likely was n’t behind the timing or nature, the official told the Journal.
According to another blog from the McCain Institute on X,” Alexei Navalny believed in simple people dignity,” Navalnaya said.  ,  ,
President Biden was among the some who blamed Putin for Navalny’s dying, stating” Putin is responsible for Navalny’s death”.
” Putin is responsible”, Biden said. ” What has happened to Navalny is yet more evidence of Putin’s brutality. No one should be fooled”.
