Pro-Palestinian protesters halted the University of Michigan’s ( UM) commencement ceremony on Friday.
In a video posted to X, activists carrying the Israeli flag and evidence that read, “ACAB”,” Free, completely Palestine”, and “UM Funds Genocide”, were seen walking into the commencement ceremony for the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre &, Dance.
People may be heard shouting and telling the demonstrators to “get out” as they entered the room and proceeded through the hallways.

Some people in the crowd also began to song,” USA! USA! USA”! as the demonstrators remained in the room.

At the University of Michigan Museum of Art, law enforcement officials were apparently attempting to reshape a group of activists.

In support of the first camp that was established at Columbia University on April 17, more anti-Israel protests and camps have appeared on college and university campuses across the country.
Numerous students were suspended the day after the Columbia University camp began, and plenty of other protesters were detained. The New York Police Department raided Hamilton Hall, an intellectual building on campus, after the first camp was removed, and another one was set up. This a remained until Tuesday when another one was set up.
The demands made by the protesters include halting Israeli companies ‘ academic ties to Israeli educational institutions, halting Israeli students ‘ travel to Israel, calling for a ceasefire in Israel’s conflict with Hamas, and requiring the United States to stop arming Israel.
The University of Michigan was in contact with Breitbart News for a speech, but it had not yet received a response.
